What is this?
This is a... well, honestly, kind of a Dungeons and Dragons-inspired game, though it also takes influence from games like Rogue. This focuses on putting you through a grand adventure or two.
At least four people need to sign up before I'll start! I don't mind if more people would like to join as well.
How do I play?
--> STATS
--> CLASSES
There are a few to pick from!
Warrior || A rather average class that favors STR and CON. They are usually skilled in fighting with weapons, and always get a +2 to weapon-using roles if they aren't using archery. They have a -1 to INT and WIS.
-->sub-classes: Ranger, Paladin, Monk
Rogue || This class favors CHA and DEX. They often carry a small blade or bow and arrow set, and will earn +2 on dexterity-based rolls. They will lose -2 to any STR-related rolls.
-->sub-classes: Thief, Bard
Mage || A magic-based class that has a general purpose of fighting with magic. They favor INT and WIS, and earn a +1 on each of those. They have a -1 to STR rolls, however.
-->sub-classes: Cleric, Druid, Specialist Wizard
Other || A catch-all category for things that don't fit in other spaces that you may want to use, such as Alchemist. You'll have to tell me what the class's + and - factors are.
----> LEVELING UP
Your character will level up whenever they gain enough XP from things like battling monsters or completing quests. Harder quests and battles will net you more XP.
Upon level up, you will earn points to put into your stats (therefore making you more powerful!), and every 5 levels you can add a skill of some sort. This will be discussed when your character reaches level 5! o/
-----> TRAVELING
Travel is long and hard, though there are many rest stops you can make along the way. There are four 'districts' of the land, each with cities within.
The divisions are as follows:
- Munyvoti, to the northwest, which has five cities or townsteads
- Nimez, to the northeast, which has eight cities or townsteads
- Pelaor, to the southwest, which has four cities or townsteads
- Heothr, to the southeast, which has two cities or townsteads.
The city count does not include lone inns and other lesser towns.
Here is a map that contains where all the cities are, as well as other landmarks.
Town names will be added as they are discovered.

--> STATS
Stats are vital to your survival in Ailouros! Each modifies different skills.
STR || STR (strength) determines a character's ability to pack a punch and lift/carry things, as well as swimming, climbing, or jumping.
DEX || DEX (dexterity) determines things like reflexes, balance, speed of movement, hand-eye coordination, agility, sneaking, and general ability to move about. This is used for ranged combat, instead of using STR, and is affected by a lot of things, such as current armor and pack weight.
CON || CON (constitution) is all about your character's health, ability to regenerate after being injured, and resistance to poisons and such. High CON means your character can take a lot of hits before being defeated.
INT || INT (intelligence) measures how quickly you learn new skills, languages, and spells, as well as increasing how many spells you can cast within any amount of posts. This skill also allows you to learn to decipher things like runes or unknown script.
WIS || WIS (wisdom) has to do with willpower, judgement, and intuitiveness. This affects some skills related to magic. It affects rolls related to healing, survival, listening, and other skills.
CHA || CHA (charisma) measures your character's physical attractiveness, persuasive nature, and personal magnetism (as listed on the DND gameplay article on wikipedia). This is how charming you can be, and affects your interactions with the locals. This affects not only average Persuasion checks, but also how you handle animals, how well you intimidate others, and how well you can change any empathy of NPCs that may have very little empathy in the first place.
