Events/Major Plots:
Nothing is really going on as of now, but...
New-leaf is just beginning. Prey is fresh and plentiful, and many creatures are emerging from their burrows after a deep slumber. The weather is mostly raining, and the air is warm. Things are looking promising with a great new-leaf this year!
History:
All four clans lived in peace. The clan cats' reign over the forest was smooth and gentle. There was a harmony, a balance that settled in the air. After the rule of Firestar, then Bramblestar, things were under control. The legendary battle was no more, buried in the past, only a tale that lingered in the hearts of the older members who were soon to pass on these knowledge to their children.
All was well. The cats, however, still kept the rules and laws of StarClan, their claws sharp and fierce, their hearts brave and strong. Of course not everything was perfect. Disputes, border patrolling and boundaries still kept the clans apart, from ever joining together. The warriors would defend their clan with their lives. They lived to serve and protect.
It was a day before everything happened, the clan leaders sensed something.
They all received a message from StarClan. And omen, scary and more frightening than all the clans that had ever faced in their years.
The terrifying picture of the ground beneath them crumbling. The sound as the earth ripped from beneath their paws. The dying wails and terrifying echos as cats slid into the depths of the dark abyss. Trees cracked from their roots, toppling over and trapping cats who tried to flee from the terror. Blood swirled around in steady, flowing tides.
The clan leaders were absolutely shocked, horrified. They were confused, and fearful. They had decided to keep the prophecy a secret, the only three cats in each clan to know were of course the leader, deputy and the medecine cat. These high-ranked cats kept the prophecy in hushed tones, from ever breaking out. Keeping it from spreading like wildfire. It was concealed.
Until that one fateful day.
A fearful deputy in one of the clans could no longer handle it. Petrified, he burst out in the middle of a gathering. He spilled out the secret, let the words flow from his mouth, from his mind. Everything he saw. The horrible vision that StarClan sent. From the rumbling earth to the flowing blood and the cries of doomed cats.
Everyone was horrified.
They went into a frenzy. The gathering had broke up. Clouds, ominous rolled to cover the shining moon. Clan cats were hurridly ushered to camp. Warriors vowed that they would do anything in their power to 'prevent' it from happening. To 'prepare' and get ready. Mothers were worried and scared. The wailing of kits could be heard out from across the clan camp as clan leaders weighed the situation in between their paws.
They decided that they could do something to protect the clan cats. To move, take shelter somewhere far from the forest. But little did they know, the prophecy could not be changed.
No one truly knows who the deputy is who revealed the secret. The clan leaders had already decided his fate, and that the only thing that the others knew was that his quick and sudden outburst had cost him his life.
The prophecy had caused some warriors and families to doubt the decision and protection of their leaders. They had even abandoned the warrior code, left their life as a warrior and went to join the loners and kittypets in the city.
The clans barely had time to react when it happend. A huge earthquake tore through the earth. It ripped away at the ground. The earth crumpled beneath their feet. Trees tore up from the ground. Shrieks could be heard as cats threw themselves out of the way. The ground crumpled. Earth and rock rose up from the ground, pushing up against against each other with horrible grating noise.
Many cats died, and the clans fled. All except for one.
ShadowClan stayed behind, proud, unwavering, and remained in their camp till the end. However, they were not prepared. The earthquake destroyed more than half of the "brave" warriors and left them desolate and fleeing.
The clans had scattered. They went in every direction. The cats were all from organized, and they could hardly keep together in groups.
The earthquake, also tore through the twoleg place. The humans had fled, as well with their pets, leaving very little tame cats and other animals. Some loners, however, stayed behind and scavanged off of what they could find. Some of them formed groups, as well as claimed their own, small, somewhat puny "territories".
Other animals, as well, confused, wandered into the forests. Wolves and bears from nearby mountains, as well as deer.
After a few moons, a brave warrior arose and took a few remaining cats along with her to rebuild the clans. They gathered whoever they could find. They recruited many cats, and in over half a year, the clans were rebuilt again, with a new, fresh start, and different names, and different territories.
The terrain had changes. The earthquake had caused mountains. It had tore up the lake, ripping up huge piles of earth and rubble, that eventually, over time, formed a marsh. The forest had slowly began to heal as well.
Now, in a few moons, the clans had begin to grow and build. But sadly, ShadowClan was unable to be rebuilt, the clan now lying in ruins, ancient history.
Or are they?
Danger still lurks at every corner. Predators waiting in the shadows. Will you survive in the cruel world and make your mark in history?
