Cat's name: Roseleaf
Gender: Female
Appearance: Light ginger cat with yellow eyes and white markings (underbelly, stockings, muzzle, under-tail). (click here)
Personality:
Commitment | Roseleaf does as much as she can to get the job done, even if it means staying up past her sleeping time. She tends to overwork herself in order to keep the Clan healthy and strong. Even though she lacks the open-arm hospitality shown by others, she'll never force a patient to do more than they should.
Confidence | Working with other cats, Roseleaf has to do her best to persuade her patients into allowing treatment, especially those that are normally timid or overconfident in themselves. She may act a bit harshly to cats who act as if they know more than she does on whatever treatment she’s using, however. Her confidence in her abilities often causes her to shrug off help, so she tends to take on as much as she can, thinking that she can actually shoulder that amount of work.
Bluntness| Being brought up with herblore in mind, Roseleaf has less of an understanding of social cues. She often steps on toes (metaphorically) by conveying exactly what she thinks; it’s this matter-of-fact thinking that also helps her in stressful situations. Without immediate action, bad things happen. And without some sort of direction in times of fear, and lack of focus on what the problem is, things will turn horribly wrong in moments. It’s this precise way of thinking and speaking that makes other cats fear the medicine cat’s den, or so she likes to think.
Rank?: Medicine Cat
Affiliates?: OakClan
History: As a kitten, she showed less of an affinity with hunting and being friendly and more of an affinity towards herblore and treatment. Much of her kithood was spent in the medicine cat’s den, learning a few different minor remedies from the medicine cat through the moons. It was no surprise when she became the medicine cat’s apprentice; her prodigal skill with the herbs given was noted by many older cats, though this distanced her somewhat from her only sibling.
The suffix, -leaf, was given to her for such skillful use of herbs, and her resourceful, sensible applications of treatments, whether in a new way of treatment or an alternate mixture. She graduated with no fuss.
Mate/crush: None.
Siblings/Relatives: Unknown mother/father (deceased), Patch-heart (unknown location).
